Sternwheeler rides transports visitors back to the year 1805 where the Blennerhassetts are hosting a party on the island. On this autumn evening, electricity is banished and the mansion and island are transformed into the flame-lit world of the early 19th century. The soft glow of candlelight weaves a mesmerizing spell as you listen to music, watch dancing and a lively game of cards. The island’s cooks prepare a harvest dinner for guests to enjoy before touring the mansion, taking a horse-drawn carriage ride or visiting the servant’s party and other activities on the island.
